The primary function of a case director is to coordinate service for the existent in need. The case director treats the person holistically. For case, an individual with a substance use complaint may ask for help to stop drinking, but first, they need a place to live, food, drug, nutrition, etc. To be suitable to go into treatment, these requirements must be met. Case operation includes four introductory orders, assessment, planning, linking, and covering (Summers, 2015).
